It was a little more interesting than I originally thought. Most bullet-points rang true on one level or another, specifically the following:
Dreaming with no scheming. Dreams are what life is made of, right? I don’t care if you want to be the first female president of the United States, or marry Justin Beiber, dreams are magical. And I get how sometimes we need to let go of the “how” and just dream big, baby! But, seriously, if you’re not planning how you’re going to get there, what’s the point? Teeny, tiny steps here. Even if you just start with telling people about your dream.
This point is big for me... especially as of late. I've been at my current job for a little less than 5 months, and I'm already bored with it. I'm disinterested in the product and the position and the people. I'm still not accustomed to the the commute, and at times it's brutal. It makes me want to pull my hair out.
I want to get going in some sort of photography gig - ideally travel photography would be fantastic... but I'll take stock photography to begin with. But, I've been doing little-to-nothing to progress this idea. Yeah, sure... I post my photos online and submit them for some contests, but nothing substantial outside of that. This 365 Project has been both a blessing and a curse (of which I'll go into another time). But now I need to light a fire under my bum and do something to progress this idea, otherwise I'll be stuck to daydream about it forever.
Outside of regional travel photography, my one promising event is a Spartan Race that will be held at a semi-local off-road park. I was asked to shoot the event by the park owners, so that's one little feather for my cap. I like feathers though, so it's time I collect more!
