Although I've been quite religious about keeping up with my photos for the 365 Project, I'm lacking in keeping up with other news in life.
Here's a quick recap:
I started working at a company that specializes in drills, taps and dies back in April as an inside sales/customer service rep. I've been there just a little over a month - so far, so good. The downsides are that it's about a 45 minute drive from where I live... and the wages aren't what I would have liked (but when are they ever really what we want?). It seems that the company really does look out for their employees - there a quite a lot of people who have been there for 10+ years, and are still very happy. That's a good sign.
My annual dance recital is next weekend. I'm happy for this for a number of reasons, but mostly because once it's finished, I'll have some time back in my life. I feel stretched pretty thin these days with work, dance, and all the other little extras that I've taken on.
Along with the prepping and planning for the recital, I've also got the Pastafari (Moab, UT) trip coming up in a week. We leave after the recital next Sunday night... after the performances, and after dinner with the family. Once on the road, we shoot out (almost non-stop) to Utah with the intent to be in town no later than Tuesday afternoon to meet the others for dinner. I'm pretty well prepared with camp gear for this trip already... just miscellaneous little extras, and getting the Jeep packed is all that's left now... and that will happen next weekend anyway. As always, I feel like I'm forgetting something. The 365 Project will likely be pretty sporadic while I'm away... not that I won't be taking photos (I'll probably be taking an over-abundance of them). Where we're going we will have less-than-adequate internet availability.
Trip report will be forthcoming! :o)
